Why
I chose the VISOR?
My
personal favorite is the Handspring Visor. I have previously owned
a Palm Pilot Professional as well as the Palm III. When I had used
all of the 2MB of memory on my Palm III, I decided it was time to upgrade
to a Palm IIIxe to pick up the 8MB of memory. While I was at the
store looking at the Palm Pilots I decided to check out the Visor.
I had read on the internet about the expandability of the line of
Visors and was begining to think it might be a better choice for me.
Once I was discovered that I could not only get my memory upgrde for
the same price as the Palm, but I would also be able to add multiple options
through Sprinboard Modules I only had one question left. I inteded
to give my Palm III to my wife but I wanted to be able to intereact with
her Palm once I got my new one. I also wanted to be able to use the
same programs that I had downloaded from the internet. When the sales
person at the store told me that the Visor ran on the same operating system
as the Palm I had to have one.
After much begging and pleading my wife got me a new Visor Deluxe for
my birthday! Even as I was unwrapping it I still wasn't sure that
what it was though I was SURE hoping. She gave it to me a day early
because we had plans on my birthday and she knew that I would be messing
with it all day. I haven't put it down since. You are more
likely to find me with out my wallet than you are to find me without my
Visor. I don't think I have ever got more for my money. Click
